Vivomixx® is a high potency microbiotic food supplement, containing 8 strains of live bacteria in a high strength dose of 450 billion beneficial bacteria per sachet and 112 billion per capsule. Vivomixx® helps restore the balance of the intestinal flora.

Each dose of 450 billion live beneficial bacteria per sachet are in defined ratios of lyophilized Bifidobacterium breve, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium infantis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus.

Developed by a Medical Doctor and Professor of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, Vivomixx® has been proven in scientific studies to support excellent health in many areas; including digestion, immunity and mood.

Some specific situations such as diet, way of living, use of antibiotics or other medications, inflammatory diseases, anxiety, depression, stress etc, can provoke alterations of the intestinal microflora, with a consequent reduction of “good bacteria”. A decrease in the quantity of “good bacteria” present in a healthy gut triggers a condition called “dysbiosis”, an imbalance which leads to an overgrowth of potential pathogenic bacteria.

This alteration in the composition of intestinal microflora is responsible for intestinal discomforts such as abdominal pains, cramps, excess gas, bloating, change in bowel habits such as harder, looser or more urgent stools than normal. Vivomixx™ is stored and shipped cold to ensure that the beneficial bacteria remain alive and viable. When Vivomixx™ is ordered from My Natural Health, it is supplied cold but it is safe to keep at ambient temperature for a short period of time until arriving home where it should be placed in the refrigerator.

The recommended daily dose is 1-2 sachets or 1-4 capsules; dissolve contents of the sachet in water, yoghurt or any other cold, non-carbonated drink or food and consume immediately. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.

450 Billion Live Bacteria at Work!

Vivomixx should not be mixed or taken with hot drinks or foods as the heat can inactivate the lactic acid bacteria. It is also recommended that Vivomixx is not taken with carbonated or fizzy drinks.

Storage
Keep refrigerated (+2-8°C). Vivomixx® contains live bacteria which are sensitive to heat, it is therefore recommended to keep the product refrigerated and away from light.
However, it may be stored at room temperature (maximum +25°C) for up to one week without affecting its potency.
Avoid high temperatures.
