Contains a blend of nutrients combined with the herb Rehmannia. Included in the nutrient mix is the amino acid tyrosine, vitamins B, C, E and D, and minerals zinc, iodine and selenium.

Mode of Action
L-tyrosine is a precursor for the synthesis of the catecholamines epinephrine, norepinephrine, dopamine and the thyroid hormone thyroxine. Iodine is an essential constituent of the thyroid hormones T3 and T4. Zinc and selenium also play a role in the correct metabolism of thyroid hormones, as well as acting as important constituents of antioxidant enzyme systems. Vitamin C is required for the synthesis of norepinephrine and epinephrine by the adrenal gland and combined with vitamin E, assists in maintaining peripheral circulation and promoting general health and well-being through supporting normal organ function. Rehmannia has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and helps in the improvement of general well-being.

Indications
* Assists the body in achieving normal basal metabolism and normal production of thyroid hormones.
* Supplementation with tyrosine may help during periods of prolonged stress, or improve stress adaptation.
* Relief of nervous tension, emotional stress and mild anxiety.
* Provides nutritional support during physically demanding periods.

Contraindications and Cautions
This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 mcg for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Selenium containing products are not suitable for use by children under the age of 15 years. Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet. If taking tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, biphosphonates (osteoporosis drugs) or thyroid hormone, separate doses by at least two hours. Discontinue at least 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
